He has represented companies who own some of the most famous and valuable trademarks in the world.  Ashley also enjoys counseling and assisting local and smaller businesses in this area of law.

Ashley has experience with many other types of intellectual property disputes as well. Examples include copyright disputes and related issues, trade secret litigation, trade dress claims, counterfeit goods, breach of computer network security, and John Doe suits to identify individuals involved in illegal Internet activities.

Product Liability, Medical Malpractice, and Other Personal Injury Litigation

He has also represented clients in health care liability suits—including medical malpractice and nursing home negligence.  His cases span many different types of medical specialties.

PUBLIC BOND LITIGATION

Ashley helps government entities and related parties who issue bonds obtain judicial approval prior to issuance.  Texas has a unique and detailed statute which governs this type of case.

Adding another layer of complexity, issuers need to obtain exceptions to the local court rules in Travis County in order to comply with the statute.

Ashley serves as lead and local counsel for parties who need assistance navigating this complicated area of law.
